I am glad that they didn’t change the sturdy red glossy boxes as I find uses for them for a variety of items.  You can find out more information and sign up by clicking here.  In the July box, we received six products with one full-size and 5 deluxe samples.

We received three hair care products beginning with the full-size Invisibobble hair ties made of artificial resin.  As the editors said, they look like old landline phone cords.  This is one product I have used and I was leery of this product at first.  It actually keeps my hair pulled back tightly.  Retail Price: $8 for 3

Bumble and Bumble BB Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer

Invisibobble

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat / UV Protective Primer is the next product.  It is a light spray that acts as a heat protectant.  It also supposedly adds shine and softness.  I have been wanting to give this product a try and now am glad to have the chance.

Retail Price: $27 for 8.5oz       Sample Size: $3.22 for 1 fl. oz.

The third hair product is Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray.  I have always enjoyed the Oscar Blandi dry shampoos and am looking forward to trying this one as it is supposed to add volume in addition to leaving your hair clean.  It has the typical Oscar Blandi lemon scent.  This product is supposed to leave no residue and cleans subtly.

Retail Price: $25 for 5oz                                                 Sample Size: $11.00 for 1.4oz

The first skin care product we received is the Supergoop Defense Refresh Setting Mist Broad Spectrum SPF 50.  This spray has a rosemary scent.  I have used this twice and love that it sets my makeup while giving me great sunscreen protection.  It is also a product that you can carry with you if you are going to be outside for long periods of time and can refresh the sunscreen on your face throughout the day.

Retail Price: $28 for 3.4oz                                              Sample Size: $4.18 for .5oz

Supergoop Setting Mist with Spf

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Synchronized Complex II is the second skin care product.  It is an anti-aging serum for the skin around your eyes.  It claims to address wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles, dryness and unevenness. The ingredients sound impressive with Hyaluronic Acid for hydration, caffeine which helps to de-puff, among others.  It this works as good as it sounds, it will be a miracle product.

Retail Price: $65 for .5oz                                                Sample Size: $17.58 for 0.14oz                 Estee Lauder Advanced Eye Night Serum

The Final product in this month’s box was a makeup item: Estee Lauder Sumptuous Infinite Daring Length & Volume Mascara in black.  This is a fiber mascara to add significant length and a little volume. It has a plastic brush with short bristles.

Retail Price: $26 for 0.5oz                                              Sample Size: $11.76 for 0.21oz

I have tried only a couple products so far but loved the section that I received in this month’s subscription box.  I was a little nervous with the services changing because you never know if they are going to be for the better or worse.  I completely recommend this box and can’t wait to see what shows up in August’s box.

  1. I have to stop reading all these subscription box posts!! I’m slightly addicted and I think my husband would probably kill me if I get another one haha. I received the Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray in the FitFabFun box and loved it!

    1. I know what you mean about being addicted. I have wanted to try Fab Fit Fun because it has a little bit of everything. I just haven’t given it a chance. I do like Oscar Blandi products. Glad to hear you liked it as well.

    1. Barb, I do like the surprises. This is a very good one but if you are asking for a Christmas present, go for Boxycharm. It is $21 and usually have all full-size products. It is the one box that I would never cancel.

    1. This is a good subscription box but my favorite is Boxycharm. That one is $21 a month but it is almost always all full-size products. I know there is an eyeshadow palette coming in this month’s box.

    1. I love dry shampoo. This is a really good brand and works well. My favorite is Batiste though and it is more affordable.

    1. I am addicted to my subscription services. This was one I had last year, cancelled and rejoined. I am glad I did because they are giving such good products.

  2. I know many people that would love a subscription box like this (myself included). What a fun idea to try new products every month. They all look amazing!

  3. I love seeing what people get in their boxes! This one looks like a good one. I’ve currently been enjoying the Popsugar Must Have box every month!

  4. Subscription boxes are so much fun! I haven’t tried one for hair and make-up products yet, but I am totally addicted to my stitch fix every month 🙂

  5. This looks like it would be a nice surprise whenever it comes in the mail. I know whenever I get something in the mail to review…I get giddy and as a girl oh my, hair product and makeup would make any girl HAPPY!
